Résumé
The lack of high-quality data on forcibly displaced populations remains a significant barrier to informed decision-making, strategic planning, and effective humanitarian and development programming, both globally and in Cameroon. Accurate socio-economic data is essential for governments, humanitarian actors, and development partners to design targeted interventions that respond to the specific needs of displaced communities. The Forced Displacement Survey (FDS) offers a groundbreaking solution to this data gap. It is the first global initiative to collect socio-economic data on refugee populations using internationally recognized standards and rigorous methodologies.
